Never thought I would read a second chance lesfic novel. But it’s Harper Bliss and if anyone could make something like this happen, it’s her. I got curious. It took a while for me to start believing when reading it but I must admit, Harper did it.
I had imagined this year to be very different than it is. It has been such a rollercoaster. I couldn’t read my beloved lesbian romance novels anymore, or hardly. Why?
Finally there is closure for Tori Hunter. Closure about knowing who killed her family. Or is there? Well, it could very well be the case when Tori and Casey investigate a homicide of a 71-year old man. A man who is keeping hundreds of photos of Tori. And when they find the gun who appears…
I’m back 🎉! It’s been a while because of life and such, but there were some new titles I just couldn’t stay away from 😊. Like this one, book 6 in the Don’t Call Me Hero series. I was really looking forward to the newest Eliza Lentzski, and I must say that I felt uhm,…
Journey’s End is hands down the best Xena Conqueror story I’ve read. L.J. Maas was on fire with this one. Most of this story is written from Xena’s POV, it was as if she had become Xena. At least, that was what it felt like to me 😏. After winning a battle, the Governor of…
Just when I think nothing will surprise me anymore, I read a new f/f work that floors me! This SwanQueen fic is from 2013 and man, am I glad I found this now, 10 years later. MorganLeGaye wrote a truly magnificent romance with Of Love and Loathing 🥰. There is a catch though. I’ll explain…
I must admit I never finished watching Supergirl SE06. It’s not that I didn’t want to. I just couldn’t. [starts venting] It was too awful. No idea what the folks that run the show were going after with the mess they made with that last season. It was a crying shame what they produced and…
I read She some time ago and I believe it is now a classic Clexa fic. And I understand why. It’s a college AU but not in the usual way, in my opinion. There’s angst but not too much. It’s just about two young woman haphazardly falling in love by being in the wrong place…
Best fic to read around Valentine’s Day ❤️. Jazzfordshire never fails, but this one just makes me fall for Kara and Lena all over again. Especially for Kara in this one. God, she is so adorable 🥰. In Lena Luthor vs. The Outdoors Kara suggests to Lena to go on a camping trip 😯. That…
Oh seabiscuit! How delightful your fics are 🥰. This one is no different. Original premise as well. What is it about you may ask? I will tell you. After the death of her brother Lex, Lena Luthor has a problem. There are no more male heirs and Lena is forced to look for a husband…
A Tarzan AU and Supercorp, does that work 🤔🤯?! Apparently it does when Aspidities writes it 😏. When she is a baby Kara’s pod crashes on earth on a mountain in Africa. She is being raised by a group of mountain gorilla’s. She doesn’t know any different and has a jolly good time 😂. One…
I really didn’t notice it but I’ve read more than a dozen SC fics by Jazzfordshire. I probably will write more recs for the ones I read. But this one just couldn’t wait. And it isn’t even completed at this date! It’s just so good, I can’t wait 🥰. I Want Something Just Like This…
I adore a small town romance. It’s relatable to me. Especially the escaping of small town life and later seeing that such a life isn’t that bad at all 🥰. Abigail (Abby) Henry returns to her hometown Grand Marais, Minnesota. She returns there for the funeral of her sister’s husband. She stays in town after…
The saga of Kal and Charlies continues in this 7th installment of The Alpha God series. Read no further if you don’t want any spoilers. It’s impossible not to give anything away since every installment ends with a major cliffhanger! After book 6 I was anxious to know what would happen next. Of course I…
I believe this was the first of Eliza Lentzski’s standalone novels I read. I was hooked after that. Her novels are so sweet and romantic. Hot too! And her characters are amazing. They are often sweet, charming, awkward, aloof, strong willed, stubborn, but always likeable and they feel real. Same goes for flight attendant Alice…
Lise Gold and her alter ego Madeleine Taylor wrote a hot romance with The Next Life. That’s how I remember it anyway. It was a particular scene that stuck with me 😏. But also Reina’s story which was strong and emotional to me. In The Next Life Reina is just divorced. Her husband traded her…
I missed Clexa and what better way to get into them again than by reading this fantastic fic by Bucklethorpe. The 300 is incredibly funny and romantic with the best witty banter ever! Though not strictly necessary, it’s best reading it if you know the whole Clexa story arc. It’s funniest that way and you’ll…
I recently reread this beautiful novel by Karin Kallmaker. It’s because I remembered a particular scene that stuck with me years after I read it. Reading it again was as powerful as I remembered. And now I understood Faith better. Still don’t understand the title though 🤔. Or maybe the title has something to do…
Two SC fics in a row. I must be infatuated 😇. A Supercorp slow burn by Jazzfordshire, is that even possible? Well, yes it is. In fact this is one of the best slow burns I’ve ever read! What’s more, Lena Luthor is a vampire. She’s the perfect character to be a vampire. You can…
Another thing that is part of the beginning of the year is New Year’s resolutions. Top ‘favorite’ one is getting fit, hitting the gym, dreams of that elusive toned body, well you get it. This short Supercorp fic is an appropriate one to motivate you 😏. Ever since Lena started dating James, Kara hasn’t been…
