AI rip-offs targeting sapphic books – blog by Jae
Some people find it seemingly ok to take books written by actual authors, run it through AI and sell it as their own 😤. The German bestselling author Jae has written a blogpost about this new phenomena. She explains how to spot a rip-off and what you could do to help get rid of these parasites. She also lists some names of the scammers (she thinks it might even be the same person, or just a few people who do this). I checked a few names and maybe it is that I looked knowing this, but it seemed pretty clear that these books were not authentic.
It’s a shame that this happens. It’s one of the downsides of AI. Very sad that people take such advantage of these tools.
