If The Shoe Fits by E.J. Noyes: A Heartwarming and Unique Romance

In this 3rd book in the Ask, Tell series by E.J. Noyes I got to know Sabine’s sister Jana better. After the first 2 books Ask, Tell and Ask Me again this was so lighthearted, funny, romantic, and sexy.

It’s not all roses and rainbows though. Especially no rainbows 😏 since Jana is straight. She dates men, uhm sorry, she goes on dates with men, looking for Mr. Right. Which is not going very well. They all seem to have deal breaking flaws, major but mostly over the top picky ones. Maybe, just maybe, Jana is afraid of committing 🤔.

One day Jana has an unfortunate encounter (literally) with Brooke Donnelly that makes her miss a shoe and she is due in court. She does not like Brooke for causing her these problems. But Brooke lends Jana her own shoes and sends her of like a true Cinderella. The encounter is the start of a friendship blossoming between them that grows into something more.

Sounds predictable maybe? I feel it isn’t. E.J. Noyes writing makes this one stand out for me. Reading it made me really happy. Such delightful characters, dialogue, love story, all of it 🥰. If The Shoe Fits is not one in a dozen, probably more like one in a couple of hundred. Does that makes sense 🤔😵‍💫?😂
