Our Wives Under The Sea – Julia Armfield
So this book is an odd one out for me. It’s a creepy story that is not very romantic in that sense. But it is about love and that makes Our Wives Under The Sea one of my lesficfavs.
Some titles are more than a novel. More than romance. They stick with me, made a real impression. Those titles belong in the category lesbian literature, instead of lesbian fiction. No shade on fiction. It’s just different, is what I think.

Landing is a treasure. It was such a joy to read. Yes, because it hit close to home. But it wasn’t just that. I loved everything about this book.
Pages For Her is not a book I would ordinarily recommend. Maybe because it’s not gay enough, whatever that means. I recommend this book regardless because it was such a beautiful read.
Another marvelous novel! I am in awe. How come I didn’t know about Sylvia Brownrigg and her beautiful novel Pages for You? It doesn’t matter, I found it, read it, loved it.
The Safekeep is hard and soft at once. I feel Yael van der Wouden did such a good job unveiling trauma in such a delicate way. But you can still feel it, deeply. There is love too, deep love.
The Price of Salt is also known as Carol, like the title of the famous movie with Cate Blanchett and Roony Mara. This is a beautiful, romantic and well-written novel.
