A Third Death – C.L. Bactad
I finally got around making an epub of one of my old Xena files, as I like to call them. I’ve been keeping these stories for in this case more than 25 years. It’s worth it. This is such a good one, never gets old 🥰.
Sex occurs regularly in this book or story. The sex is explicitly described but is not the main thing in the book or story. It’s exciting though 😏. And sometimes the amount of sex is the only difference with explicit.

“Shifting Gears” is a highly anticipated novel by Jazz Forrester, known for her exceptional Supercorp fanfiction, including “There’s A Big Old Moon Shining Down At Night.” The story features Eleanor Cromwell and Dani Cooper, who unexpectedly fall in love amidst life’s chaos. I encourage you to indulge in this romantic tale.
The Price of Salt is also known as Carol, like the title of the famous movie with Cate Blanchett and Roony Mara. This is a beautiful, romantic and well-written novel.
I recently re-read this first novel by Karin Kallmaker. First published in 1989 it bears the sign of the times. It’s probably one of the reasons I like this book well enough to read it more than once. In fact it was probably the 3rd or 4th time I read it. In Every Port tells…
4th Book in the Ask, Tell series. Last one? Maybe. In any case this one feels like a treat. We go way back to when Ask, Tell took place. Difference now is that the story is told form Rebecca’s perspective. So exciting! Well it seems that Sabine had an immediate effect on Rebecca. Love at…
In this 3rd book in the Ask, Tell series by E.J. Noyes I got to know Sabine’s sister Jana better. After the first 2 books Ask, Tell and Ask Me again this was so lighthearted, funny, romantic, and sexy. It’s not all roses and rainbows though. Especially no rainbows 😏 since Jana is straight. She…
I was finally brave enough to read Ask Me Again, book 2 in the Ask, Tell series. And it was definitely worth it! Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster this was 😨. It deals with PTSD in the aftermath of ‘The Incident’ in Ask, Tell. In Ask Me Again Sabine travels home after her deployment. Home…
I read Ask, Tell years ago and I loved it. Though it was also heartbreaking, regardless of the happy end 🥰. This book was part of the Ask, Tell series. So I loved Ask, Tell because it’s a beautiful love story against all odds. Captain Sabine Fleischer is a U.S. Army surgeon deployed to a…
*repost* You just can’t go wrong with coalitiongirl. It’s no different with this one. Enemies With Benefits (Not Dental, Though) is gorgeous 🥰. Emma and Regina are not dating. They are just fooling around with each other. There will be no danger for either of them to fall in love, or will there? Shouldn’t be…
I would have read this book by Virginia Black if only for it’s cover. But this book wasn’t just beautiful from the outside! This was a fantastic read. Now I am a big fan of sci-fi novels and when there’s a lesbian romance involved, then I’m definitely in. Even better when it has a desolate…
Oh yes! A Christmas AU Supercorp fic of sorts (read the tags). I love You & Me & Holiday Wine, because it’s the season you know 🧑🎄⛄. And it is a delightful story! In this AU, Lena travels to Sam’s cabin in Colorado to pick up some work. Sam is staying there with her daughter…
I love Christmas, I really do. There are a few things though, I am not a fan of. Things like the chaos in anticipation towards Christmas. People running around like crazy trying to get everything done before Christmas. So I try to stay far away from that all and escape with a nice book. That…
I like Christmas. Especially Christmas romance, preferably lesfic style. And who better to write the best ones than Gerri Hill. God, I love her writing. In Chasing a Brighter Blue, Shelby Sutton meets photojournalist Reagan Bryant. They meet during a two-week celebration in Colorado with family and friends. They have never met but they are…
The Great Charade is a true Christmas novel 🧑🏼🎄. Abby Carpenter needs a fake girlfriend to take to her family over Christmas. The reason why is very funny actually. I had never really laughed while reading a Gerri Hill book, but I did with this one. Abby is going to spend Christmas at her parents. Just like every year….
Never thought I would read a second chance lesfic novel. But it’s Harper Bliss and if anyone could make something like this happen, it’s her. I got curious. It took a while for me to start believing when reading it but I must admit, Harper did it. Still The One tells about the broken romance…
I’m back 🎉! It’s been a while because of life and such, but there were some new titles I just couldn’t stay away from 😊. Like this one, book 6 in the Don’t Call Me Hero series. I was really looking forward to the newest Eliza Lentzski, and I must say that I felt uhm,…
I read She some time ago and I believe it is now a classic Clexa fic. And I understand why. It’s a college AU but not in the usual way, in my opinion. There’s angst but not too much. It’s just about two young woman haphazardly falling in love by being in the wrong place…
Oh seabiscuit! How delightful your fics are 🥰. This one is no different. Original premise as well. What is it about you may ask? I will tell you. After the death of her brother Lex, Lena Luthor has a problem. There are no more male heirs and Lena is forced to look for a husband…
I adore a small town romance. It’s relatable to me. Especially the escaping of small town life and later seeing that such a life isn’t that bad at all 🥰. Abigail (Abby) Henry returns to her hometown Grand Marais, Minnesota. She returns there for the funeral of her sister’s husband. She stays in town after…
I missed Clexa and what better way to get into them again than by reading this fantastic fic by Bucklethorpe. The 300 is incredibly funny and romantic with the best witty banter ever! Though not strictly necessary, it’s best reading it if you know the whole Clexa story arc. It’s funniest that way and you’ll…
