Ok, I just have to share this Supercorp fic from Sextual, because it is🔥🔥🔥🥵. After all, it’s totally appropriate after my fangirling post. Lena is horny and pissed off at Kara, but she also longs for her. Kara has lied to her about her identity as Supergirl and she just can’t stand it. To meet her need, she uses…
Besides reading lesbian fiction I love to watch lesbians on screen, preferably in a decent movie or TV show 😉. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to watch some great examples in that regard. Although, I mean great in the sense that I like it personally 😂. Anyway, on that note. I thought it…
This book by Harper Bliss was actually a (lesfic) dream coming true for me. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to fantasize. Sometimes I imagine the female leads in a movie or tv-show actually, you know, hit it off 😉. Does that make me weird? I don’t know. Probably not though. And you know, maybe…
This delightful series tells the story of 15-year-old Kim who just moved to Brighton. She develops a HUGE crush on her best friend Sugar. It’s again a coming of age, coming out, best friends to lovers story, but not quite. And it’s British, seriously funny, and original. Love, love, love this ❤️.
Harper Bliss regularly writes novels with an unconventional theme. This certainly also applies to A Breathless Place . In this book, the main character plans to commit suicide. Neither she nor her co-star in this romance are “spring chickens”. And yet it works, as always in her books. The beginning of the book is immediately confrontational. You meet Isabel…
Two SC fics in a row. I must be infatuated 😇. A Supercorp slow burn by Jazzfordshire, is that even possible? Well, yes it is. In fact this is one of the best slow burns I’ve ever read! What’s more, Lena Luthor is a vampire. She’s the perfect character to be a vampire. You can…
Some people find it seemingly ok to take books written by actual authors, run it through AI and sell it as their own 😤. Jae wrote a blogpost on the topic👏🏼.
Ok, this is one my top favorite Clexa fics. Or at least shared 1st place with the faithtastic stories 😉. The fact that faithtastic contributed to this story will certainly have helped to my liking it so much. In This is Heaven in Hiding, Clark Griffin and Lexa Woods are lawyers. Lexa is the Assistant District Attorney who…
Phew, well this one from Gerri Hill has stuck with me for a while. The story is quite a typical Gerri Hill story, exciting storyline with a passionate love affair as a parallel story. But I thought the punch line was intense. Intense in the sense of controversial. And I am not averse to that 😉. So, all in all…
Another marvelous novel! I am in awe. How come I didn’t know about Sylvia Brownrigg and her beautiful novel Pages for You? It doesn’t matter, I found it, read it, loved it.
Take a Chance on Me is one of my first SwanQueen fics. This one got me hooked on this ship. Nice slow burn on the way to ‘a whole lot of heat’ 🔥🔥. The story begins when Regina visits Emma in the hospital. Emma is injured after yet another heroic act to save the community from evil. Regina…
Another swoon worthy lesbian movie. Imagine Me & You is so sweet, romantic and well everything you’d look for in a romcom. And this one is with a love story between two gorgeous women. I can’t imagine you don’t know this one but if you don’t, go watch it. Especially if you’re a sucker for…
La Vie d’Adèle (or Blue Is The Warmest Colour) is a movie adaption of the graphic novel by Julie Maroh (which is beautiful by the way, not exactly the same story though). There was a lot of commotion about the director and his absurd method of directing. Maybe because of that, a lot of people…
I love Christmas, I really do. There are a few things though, I am not a fan of. Things like the chaos in anticipation towards Christmas. People running around like crazy trying to get everything done before Christmas. So I try to stay far away from that all and escape with a nice book. That…
Painted Moon was initially published in 1994. This copy is a special issue celebrating the book’s 25th anniversary. You can look for the 1994 version. However, this one is even more fun. Karin Kallmaker added 2 additional short stories, 8 and 25 years later. She has also written a foreword. In it, she shares what she discovered. After…
I must admit that I really liked A Perfect Ending, another Nicole Conn movie. It was a very moving story and Barbara Niven was excellent. The artsy fartsy bits with Paris (and her weird slow voice) were less moving for me, but her backstory was. A rarely seen premise of this unlikely love story between…
I read Ask, Tell years ago and I loved it. Though it was also heartbreaking, regardless of the happy end 🥰. This book was part of the Ask, Tell series. So I loved Ask, Tell because it’s a beautiful love story against all odds. Captain Sabine Fleischer is a U.S. Army surgeon deployed to a…
The 4th part already in this great series by Lexa Luthor. And I thought as I was reading, hmmm this is getting a bit predictable. That made me a bit worried that the series would not be as good. But nooooooo, thank goodness 🙏. This was again so good and full of exciting, surprising and emotional twists. Plus, the…
A while ago, Timber Falls, Gerri Hill’s latest book, came out. And then I thought, now I have to wait for the next book. Or just read her books again, never a punishment. But then I thought to myself: do I really have all her books now? I checked it out, and sure enough, I didn’t have Moonlight Avenue yet 👯♂️! Immediately…
I recently noticed that I have already published more than 100 posts on my blog 🎉🍾! And I love doing it so much, my book club of one 😁. I say, on to the next 100! But first this. I have argued several times with some that my blog is not a review site. But what is…
